Key Details:
- Pay: $85,000 - $105,000/year DOE
- Location: DaVinci Digital’s office is located at Urban Office (4949 S. Macadam – Portland, OR)
- This role will split time working from home, the office, and client sites in the Portland area.
- Travel: Travel throughout Portland Metro area in service of client support
- Schedule: Full-time, Monday – Friday 8 am - 5 pm

Additional qualifications include:
- Three (3) years of experience in an IT consulting/MSP role or five (5) years of experience as a member of a network support team.
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, software engineering, IT, or similar field preferred or equivalent experience.
- Relevant network industry or vendor certifications preferred.
- Skilled in troubleshooting, maintaining, and deploying networking equipment
- Ability to manage time effectively and prioritize tasks based on urgency.
- High attention to detail and commitment to high-quality service standards.
- Ability to pass a pre-employment background check and drug screening.
- Current unencumbered driver’s license and access to personal vehicle.
Preferred technologies include:
- SonicWall – Firewalls and management systems.
- Cisco Meraki – Firewalls, Switches, and Access Points.
- Cisco small business and enterprise-grade switches.
- Ubiquiti (Unifi) – Switches, Access Points, and Controller Platform.
- Cloud Platforms – General working knowledge of Microsoft 365 (Exchange / SharePoint Online / Teams / Azure / Entra ID / Intune) is useful as there is some crossover with network services and conditional access policies, and Quality of Service needs.
What You’ll Do: The Consulting Network Engineer is a member of the Network team, focused on a combination of network troubleshooting, deployment, and configuration. We endeavor to be a partner with our clients, in many cases filling the technical shoes all the way from Tier 1 support through Director of Technology. We value human interaction and guiding our clients to make the most effective technical decisions for their business based on our experience-based best practices and conservative approach to IT. The role that the Consulting Network Engineer takes in this approach is a boots-on-the-ground part of the networking component. In this role, you will work through a queue of network-specific tickets comprised of a combination of configuration changes, troubleshooting, and deployment. The Consulting Network Engineer also takes part in system design with the Director of Network Architecture, where appropriate based on client and technology experience and in instances where you will be working to deploy a solution.
Additional responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Resolve technical support tickets, including network performance or connectivity troubleshooting, configuration, and updates.
- Maintenance functions for existing network infrastructure
- LAN/WAN performance troubleshooting and service-based prioritization
- Assist clients in completion of security audits through configuration review and documentation
- Project-based work for network upgrades and greenfield deployments.
- Assist as needed in internal projects.
- Provide feedback and technical advice to the client account management team.
