Primary Responsibilities:
Ensure flight operations aircraft are operated to the highest level of safety and professionalism.
Oversee Flight Team Leads to ensure crew members maintain the highest level of safety and professional standards at all times.
Perform duties as a flight crew member when required.
Maintain a liaison with the Director of Operations in all operations matters.
Coordinate training to ensure that adequately trained and qualified pilots are available for and assigned to each flight.
Overall responsibility for the scheduling and efficient utilization of the aircraft and flight crew.
Responsible for crewmember standardization.
Ensure that revisions to the appropriate Flight Operations Manual are communicated and made available to all pilots.
Designate check airmen and aircraft flight instructors and coordinate with FAA for approval.
Complete Training Vendor Audits and coordinate with FAA for Training Manual Revisions and Approvals.
Responsible for partnering with the Maintenance Director to prepare and submit Mechanical Interruption Summary Reports required by FAR 135.417.
Participate in the investigation of, and make a report to the Director of Operations, on any aircraft accident, reportable incident, records discrepancy, or airmen flight violation.
Requirements:
- Must have the ability to work on complex tasks and non-routine matters.
ATP/ PIC Type Rating in Assigned Aircraft.
Bachelor’s Degree is preferred.
Must have at least 5 years of corporate aviation experience with 3 years of operating experience as a Pilot in Command under Part 135.
Must be willing to live within 1 hour of KCLT.
