Davinci’s Market is hiring for an Assistant Manager!

Davinci’s Market is a Gas Station/ C-Store/ Deli near Lake Whatcom in Bellingham

Join this growing fast pace deli and be a part of our Team! We are always looking for high energy individuals who love giving great service and having lots of fun at work.

An Assistant Manager works with the store manager(s) to organize, plan and implement strategies. They also coordinate retail store operations and ensure employees meet store schedules and objectives. We will train you! The Deli is open from 6:00am to 8:00pm and shifts vary depending on store needs. Full availability is preferred.

Starting Pay Rate: $23.00

Pay Rate after successful completion of 90 Day training period: $17.50

Performance Expectations - Essential Functions:

· Replenishes Products and supplies in the deli

· Assists in keeping deli and workspaces neat and clean

· Double checks orders for accuracy

· Answers guests questions or gets help when needed

· Uses various equipment like dishwasher, slicer, griddle, toaster, auto-fryer, knives and any other as training progresses

· Positively responds to direction and requests for assistance from co-workers, supervisors, managers and guests

· Treats customers and co-workers with courtesy and respect

· Makes eye contact and greets guests enthusiastically

· Finds ways to keep busy and stay productive during slow peak times

· Adheres to Davinci’s 3 Steps to Great Service standards at all times.

· Greets each customer in the department or sales floor, using names whenever possible; extends thanks to each customer upon completion of the order/purchase.

· Handles, in a positive manner, those inherent levels of stress associated with employment situations.

Other Employment Responsibilities:

· Complies with laws/regulations and company policies including those regarding confidentiality, honesty, and business ethics.

· Maintains responsive and cooperative relationship with supervisors, co-workers, vendors, customers and other personnel.

· Accomplishes assigned tasks in an efficient and timely manner within standards established by supervisor.

· Other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

· Current food handler’s card.

· 21 years of age or older.

· Ability and willingness to work a flexible schedule, (depending on business needs), including weekends, days, or evenings.

· Good customer relations skills, with outgoing, friendly personality and a desire to serve the public.

· Neat, clean, and professional business-like appearance.

· Good work record/references especially with respect to honesty and dependability.

· Must be able to perform essential functions, with reasonable accommodation if needed.

· Attend company orientation meeting.

· Ability to lift 50 lbs. occasionally.

· Consistent standing, stooping, bending, and lifting.

· Constant arm, hand and wrist motion.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $23.00 - $25.00 per hour
