OVERVIEW
At Davis, Bowen & Friedel, Inc. (DBF), our Structural CAD Technicians play an essential supporting role in the production of a variety of infrastructure designs. Our Structural CAD Technicians help to enhance, maintain, and protect the communities we work, live, and play in. In this role, we are looking for an individual who is a problem-solver, driven and reliable; one who will identify opportunities to improve the quality of work and services, and participate in their implementation. This position will include, but not be limited to, assisting and providing support to the Structural Engineering department, in the Milford and Salisbury offices, with drafting and development of construction drawings for infrastructure, commercial, and residential projects. Proficiency in the use of AutoCAD and Revit is required for the position.

RESPONSIBILITIES
• Utilize the latest design software to accurately render and communicate design, plans, and other necessary related systems and structures.
• Coordinate with architects, engineers, and surveyors regarding model accuracy, drafting standards, and design documentation.
• Prepare project documentation for client submittal.
• Use feedback to modify designs and develop solutions.
• Provide timely technical assistance.
• Handle multiple projects and/or tasks simultaneously.
EDUCATION & SKILLS
The candidate should possess a high-school diploma or GED. The preferred candidate will have general knowledge of basic building and structural design. Two (2) years of direct work with AutoCAD and Revit is required.
