Sr. Electro-mechanical Technician - DIRECT HIRE!
We are seeking skilled Electronics Technicians that has soldering and working with small electronics parts for a growing company here in the Oxford, MA area!
1st shift:
Monday - Fridays 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM
After a few weeks of training, flexible with start time.
Pay rate:
$27.00-$30.00/hr

Responsibilities:
Conduct thorough inspections of small components using microscopes and other precision instruments.
Ensure all inspections are performed in accordance with clean room protocols and safety guidelines.
Assemble precision mounts; such as standard mounts, precision mounts, and ball-joint mounts
Using various optical alignment tools; alignment lasers, beam profilers, and optical breadboards to ensure precise alignment of optical components.
Perform and use adhesives and epoxies for bonding small optical components.
Use test equipment to measure and adjust laser system parameters, ensuring they meet specified performance criteria.
Perform soldering.
Following schematics and blueprints.
Perform diagnostic tests to identify and troubleshoot issues.
Conduct detailed calibrations and fine-tuning to achieve desired output characteristics.
Collaborate with engineering and production teams to optimize laser system designs and processes.
Maintain accurate documentation of procedures, adjustments, and test results.
Requirements
Associates Degree, preferred.
Laser optics experience is a plus!
Come from a microelectronics background
Ability to read and follow written instructions and schematics
Good dexterity, organized, energetic, reliable, timely, detail oriented.
Strong written and verbal communication skills are required.
Team oriented thinker.
Ability and desire to handle work of diverse scope and complexity.
Ability to support the team across a wide range tasks.
Lifting of items up to 50 pounds will be required, walking, standing, lifting and reaching.
