Commercial Glazier Technician - Store Front Doors/Windows

The Glass Technician is a key part of our team, with a focus on service and replacement of commercial door and storefront glass. This team member will also be involved in the estimation process, and ensure our customers have a high quality customer experience.

Primary Duties

· Repair or replace glass in commercial doors and storefronts.

· Ability to measure accurately utilizing tape measure and levels

· Assist in the estimation for process. Experience with estimation a plus.

· Train technicians new to the glass service industry.

· Repair and service doors as needed.

· Assist in other door repairs as needed.

· Provide excellent customer experience.

Skills Required

· Familiarity with tools specific to glazier work

· Willingness to learn

· Punctuality

· Excellent communication skills

· Knowledge of power and hand tools

· Background in construction a plus

· Commitment to safe work habits

· Physical ability to lift/move glass and materials for the work

Reporting Relationships

Davis Door Service is one company with multiple divisions. This structure allows us to serve our customers effectively and responsively. Each division has a division manager who oversees daily operations. As a technician, you will be working on jobs independently or with other technicians/trainees to work safely and proficiently.
