Davis Family Veterinary Hospital is a brand new, family owned and operated veterinary hospital located in Hendersonville, TN projected to open in July. We pride ourselves on providing high quality medicine accompanied by gracious hospitality.
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Veterinary Technician to join our team. In this role, you will provide essential support to veterinarians in delivering high-quality medical care to animals. Your responsibilities will encompass a variety of tasks, including assisting in surgical procedures, performing diagnostic tests, and ensuring the well-being of our patients. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in animal care and demonstrate proficiency in veterinary techniques. Responsibilities
- Support veterinarians to ensure quality veterinary care, advocate for pets, and educate clients.
- With each hospital function, assist veterinarians and the medical team to maximize productivity and maintain positive patient flow.
- Assist in maintaining relevant, comprehensive medical records with the support of practice systems.
- Obtain relevant health history and information from clients and maintain medical charts.
- Use safe restraining techniques, follow standard protocols, and sustain clean, sterile, organized treatment areas, exam rooms, and labs.
- Be willing to guide, mentor, and support fellow team members.
