D|F is seeking a highly motivated, passionate and experienced Structural Group Leader to join our team. The ideal candidate will have strong roots in South Carolina, established network of clients and partners and a passion for Leadership. The Structural Group Leader will guide our exceptional team towards achieving D|F's goals and promote a positive and inclusive team culture. The individual will cultivate an atmosphere of collaboration and communication, while equipping staff with the necessary tools for individual and business success. Working together with teams and technical leaders, the individual will strategize and implement initiatives to enhance team performance, productivity and quality of work.

The D|F Structural team is a diverse group of professionals that are driven by a passion to deliver quality work to our clients. The Team manages a diverse portfolio of current projects throughout SC, NC and GA. The portfolio of projects includes state and local government clients, Industrial clients, architectural clients, private clients and educational clients. This diversity has enabled a strong business built on collaboration and delivering excellence.

Responsibilities
Lead the structural group business in a manner that exemplifies D|F's core values : Expertise, Innovation and Integrity
Develop and execute the business growth strategy for the structural group which aligns to D|F objectives and initiatives
Identify, manage, and participate in key industry events that align with the growth strategy
Create and maintain a robust pipeline of project opportunities as documented and managed in D|F's client relationship management database
Assist in leading key pursuits, proposal reviews and interview preparation
Lead and develop a strong and diverse team of project / client managers and technical practitioners
Recruit, retain, and develop top talent, and support their career development
Set and actively manage the team's direct project utilization in a manner that aligns with D|F goals and objective
Foster and promote a culture of excellence in people management, project management, cost controls, and overall profit and loss management
Serve as Principal in Charge for existing clients across the project portfolio
Oversee contracts, scope and fee development to maintain quality deliverable and profitability and manage risk
Support operations and project delivery teams in exceeding key project performance goals
Apply best practices to project delivery by leveraging technology and standard methodologies
Coordinate with the COO to align on D|F's risk tolerances and procedures
Minimum Requirements
Bachelor's degree in civil, structural or related technical discipline
Professional Engineering License
15 years of experience in structural engineering with at least 5 years in a leadership or management role
Demonstrated experience managing project managers, engineers, designers, and clients
Proven experience in the successful management of business financials for engineering and consulting contracts
