Elliot is a full-service electrical contractor specializing in overhead and underground distribution, transmission, substations, lighting, traffic signaling, utility locating and industrial/commercial services.
Job Description
Communications technicians will complete data and fiber optic installations. As part of the day-to-day responsibilities you will be completing the following:
- Pulling, termination, and testing horizontal data cables.
- Fitting out communications rooms in new and existing spaces.
- Installing, terminating, splicing and testing fiber optic cables.
- Operating tools and equipment according to company and OSHA safety procedures.
- Ability to work in commercial, healthcare, and industrial environments.
- Supervision and training of communications installers and/or apprentices.
Qualifications
- 4 Years of experience recommended.
- Own your own hand tools.
- Must be able to pass criminal background check and drug screening.
