Elliot is a full-service electrical contractor specializing in overhead and underground distribution, transmission, substations, lighting, traffic signaling, utility locating and industrial/commercial services.
Job Description
The primary responsibility of the Foreman is to ensure safe and successful completion of all work assigned to the crew. Specifically, the Foreman for Traffic Signal and Lighting must:
- Ensure all work is performed in the safest manner possible.
- Plan and supervise all work assigned to the crew.
- Coach and train crew members in the proper methods of performing the work.
- Maintain the proper care of assigned Elliot equipment and tools.
- Assume responsibility for the safety, quality, and professionalism of the crew.
- Perform other duties as directed or required.
Qualifications
- Proficient in reading and understanding plans for traffic signals, roadway lighting, and roadway signs.
- 5 Years of experience prefered, not required
- Proficiency with VDOT systems and standards for Traffic Signals, Roadway Lighting, and Signs.
- Must be able to pass a criminal background check and drug screening
- Class A CDL
- Willing to travel
