Position Qualifications: Preferred Education: High school or equivalent Minimum Experience: Sufficient previous experience in large scale food preparation Minimum Field-of-Expertise: Knowledge of cooking methods/procedures, including types of preparation and related routines Preferred Course(s)/Training: Training in institutional food preparation Physical Demands: Moderate physical effort, lift/carry up to 35 lbs. Frequent prolonged standing/walking Working Conditions: Exposed to varying degrees of kitchen elements Exposed to noise Exposed hot and humid work environment Subject to burns and cuts Exposed to hazards of steam and heat Exposed to heat, wetness, odors in kitchen and/or patient areas
