Position Summary
Performs a variety of general cleaning tasks to maintain patient rooms, offices, hallways, and other assigned areas of the hospital. Washes and finishes laundry as assigned.
Preferred Education: High school or equivalent
Minimum Experience: On-the-job training
Physical Demands: Frequent prolonged standing and walking
Considerable reaching, stooping, bending, kneeling, and
Crouching
Working Conditions: Heavy physical effort (lift and carry up to 50 lbs)
Pushes, pulls, moves, and lifts heavy equipment and supplies
Exposed to housekeeping cleaning agents and chemicals
Works in precarious or high locations (ladders,
scaffolding)
