Position Summary: Under the supervision of the manager of the Cardiopulmonary Department and the Licensed Therapists, performs automated and manual departmental procedures to test and monitor patients in the treatment and diagnosis of disease.
Position Qualifications: Minimum Education: currently a student enrolled in second year or more of an accredited school for Respiratory Therapy or an unlicensed graduate of an accredited school for Respiratory Therapy. Minimum Experience: on –the –job training and sufficient clinical experience as a student or unlicensed graduate of an accredited school for Respiratory Therapy Required Course(s)/Training: AHA Basic Life Support Provider Certification Physical Demands: Prolonged, frequent or considerable standing/walking Pushes/pulls or moves/lifts heavy equipment/supplies Working Conditions: May be exposed to infections and contagious diseases, regularly exposed to the risk of blood borne diseases.
