What are the responsibilities and job description for the Assembly-Deburr position at Davis Manufacturing?
Removing burrs and sharp edges from parts, wash parts, clean parts per requirements, assembly of small parts, part marking, bonding of cork and other materials.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Install fasteners and inserts into parts.
Ink stamping, print or other marking of parts.
Identifies nonconforming product.
Produces reports and other required documentation.
Follow internal procedures and meet requirements of QMS.
Applies deburring and metal finishing techniques to parts per requirements
Wash and clean parts per requirements
Set up and operate vibratory deburring equipment.
Performs in-process inspection
Other duties as required.
Qualifications / Requirements:
Understands basic inspection methods.
Must be able to interpret engineering prints.
Mechanical aptitude.
Attention to detail and ability to follow written procedures.
Education:
High school diploma / GED; technical degree preferred
Min experience:
2-3 years in related role
