Automotive Marketing Manager

SUMMARY:

The Marketing Manager performs administrative tasks to support the company’s advertising efforts, public relations initiatives, community outreach programs, and internal and external events.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES:

• Coordinate dealership and community events.
  
• File the necessary permits and permissions from manufacturers and local government for display of vehicles for marketing purposes.
  
• Manage the advertising budget and invoicing.
  
• Submit documentation for cooperative advertising reimbursement from manufacturers.
  
• Maintain communication with vendors to ensure accurate and timely operation of all advertising efforts.
  
• Maintain reporting from various advertising sources.
  
• Support the operation of social media accounts and curation of content for multiple locations.
  
• Order promotional materials for distribution at events.
  
• Communicate with dealership personnel to keep abreast of customer attitudes, demographics, buying habits, etc.
  
• Assist in the production and modification of marketing creative, including web, video, print, and digital ads, as needed.
  
• Maintain and continually ensure the accuracy of information on the company’s various websites.
  
• Other duties as assigned.
  

POSITION REQUIREMENTS:

• Experience and/or education in promotional/marketing activities.
  
• Excellent organizational skills.
  
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  
• Strong attention to detail.
  
• Ability to multi-task and meet deadlines.
  
• Highly proficient in the Microsoft Office Suite, primarily Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook.
  
• Basic web design/development skills (preferred).
  
• Experience with the Adobe Creative Suite (preferred).
  

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Must have a valid U.S. Driver’s License.
  
• Bachelor’s Degree (preferred).
  
• 2 years of related experience (preferred).
  

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

While performing the duties of this position, the employee must regularly lift objects up to 20 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move objects up to 80 pounds.
