SUMMARY:
The Marketing Manager performs administrative tasks to support the company’s advertising efforts, public relations initiatives, community outreach programs, and internal and external events.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES:
- Coordinate dealership and community events.
- File the necessary permits and permissions from manufacturers and local government for display of vehicles for marketing purposes.
- Manage the advertising budget and invoicing.
- Submit documentation for cooperative advertising reimbursement from manufacturers.
- Maintain communication with vendors to ensure accurate and timely operation of all advertising efforts.
- Maintain reporting from various advertising sources.
- Support the operation of social media accounts and curation of content for multiple locations.
- Order promotional materials for distribution at events.
- Communicate with dealership personnel to keep abreast of customer attitudes, demographics, buying habits, etc.
- Assist in the production and modification of marketing creative, including web, video, print, and digital ads, as needed.
- Maintain and continually ensure the accuracy of information on the company’s various websites.
- Other duties as assigned.
POSITION REQUIREMENTS:
- Experience and/or education in promotional/marketing activities.
- Excellent organizational skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Ability to multi-task and meet deadlines.
- Highly proficient in the Microsoft Office Suite, primarily Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook.
- Basic web design/development skills (preferred).
- Experience with the Adobe Creative Suite (preferred).
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Must have a valid U.S. Driver’s License.
- Bachelor’s Degree (preferred).
- 2 years of related experience (preferred).
PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
While performing the duties of this position, the employee must regularly lift objects up to 20 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move objects up to 80 pounds.
