What are the responsibilities and job description for the Controls Engineer position at Davis Standard?
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Design control systems for continuous web handling machinery to the sold specifications.
- Will work on primarily design/drafting related tasks with the guidance of a Sr. or Staff Project Engineer
- May oversee the work of other design engineers and works with other members of the engineering staff to ensure that production is completed in a timely manner.
- Provide backup support for assembly, purchasing and field service related questions and problems
- Drive commonality and design for manufacturing.
- Integration of all components into the general arrangement drawing
- Participate in Project Teams for contract and project design review meetings.
- Travel up to 10% for customer visits, vendor meetings, and start-up’s as required.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the Manager.
- Awareness of ISO 9001:2015, ISO 14001:2015, ISO 45001:2018 management system
