Job Summary: Davis Standard, a leader in Polymer processing solutions that optimize productivity and profitability, is seeking an accomplished and dynamic Vice President of Global Sales to drive our worldwide sales strategy for our key product areas of Conversion systems, Extrusion Coating, Pipe & Profile, Wire and Cable, and Sheet. With a keen understanding of industrial equipment and a proven track record in global market expansion, the successful candidate will lead the sales team to achieve and exceed revenue targets, ensuring continued growth and market penetration.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement a comprehensive global sales strategy to drive order generation, achieve company revenue targets and drive accountability to ensure our sales team is obsessed with our customers.
- Lead, mentor, and inspire the global sales team, fostering a culture of high performance and accountability.
- Identify and pursue new market opportunities and partnerships to drive international growth.
- Oversee customer relationship management to ensure long-term customer satisfaction and retention.
- Drive effective pricing strategies to ensure margin accretion and profitable growth in our Capital Equipment business while influencing our Aftermarket strategies for our repair, rebuild and upgrade (RRU) business
- Collaborate with and lead marketing, product development, and other departments to align sales strategies with overall company goals.
- Analyze market trends and competitor activities to adapt sales strategies accordingly.
- Prepare and present sales forecasts, budgets, and performance reports to the executive team.
- Represent the company at industry events, trade shows, and key customer meetings.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Sales, Marketing, or a related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred.
- Minimum of 10 years of sales leadership experience, with a strong emphasis on international markets and industrial equipment.
- Deep technical expertise in the Polymer industry preferred
- Proven track record of successfully managing and growing global sales teams.
- In-depth knowledge of extrusion technology and related industrial equipment.
- Excellent communication (verbal and written), negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Strong detail orientation with analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- High sense of urgency
- Ability to travel internationally as required.
