Technical Program Manager
IT Integration (M&A Focus)
We are seeking an experienced and highly organized Technical Program Manager to lead IT integration efforts for a major corporate acquisition. This is a contract-to-hire role supporting an acquisition that is expected to close in early January, with an immediate need to drive planning, validation, and execution across infrastructure and application domains. During your contract phase, you will have a full benefits package, including healthcare, PTO and paid holidays.
Key Responsibilities
Drive IT integration planning and execution from merger sign to close (~7 months)
- Establish and manage workstreams, project schedules, and key milestones
- Lead infrastructure systems integration efforts
- Oversee testing, validation, and stakeholder coordination across departments
- Support facilities transition including IT setup in a new building, HR, and regulatory compliance
- Coordinate with internal teams and external consultancies to ensure smooth transition
- Report to executive stakeholders and ensure project alignment with budget constraints
Required Skills and Experience
8 years of IT project/program management experience with a strong focus on integration
- Experience with mergers and acquisitions, including sign-to-close activities
- Deep understanding of IT infrastructure integration
- Ability to lead multi-site efforts and manage cross-functional teams
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
- Background in regulated industries (e.g., radiological, manufacturing, energy) a plus
Location
- Onsite in Billerica, MA for IT activities and Bedford, MA for corporate meetings
Timeline & Start
- Kick-off planned for early May, with staffing up in early October for full ramp-up.
Compensation Range: $125K - $160K
Salary : $125,000 - $160,000
