Due to continued growth, we are seeking a motivated and results driven Inside Sales Representative to join our service team in Liverpool, NY. The ideal candidate will be responsible for spotting inspection deficiencies from fire alarm system inspection reports, estimating parts and labor to execute repairs while maintaining and growing relationships with existing customers. This is a role in identifying new sales opportunities and ensuring customer satisfaction. The Inside Sales Representative will work closely with our inspectors and service team to gather information based on our inspection teams findings to remedy the customers’ fire protection systems. This is an hourly position with rates based on experience and couples with a structured sales bonus based on performance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Customer Relationship Management: Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing customers to understand their needs and anticipate future requirements.
- Sales Generation: Identify and pursue new sales opportunities through inbound lead follow-up and outbound cold calls and emails.
- Product Knowledge: Develop a thorough understanding of our products and services within the fire protection industry to effectively address customer inquiries and needs.
- Quotation and Proposal Preparation: Prepare accurate and timely quotes and proposals tailored to customer specifications.
- Order Processing: Process customer orders and ensure accurate entry into the sales system.
- Collaboration: Work closely with the sales and operations teams to ensure seamless communication and delivery of products and services.
- Reporting: Maintain detailed records of customer interactions, and sales activities.
- Problem Solving: Address and resolve customer concerns and issues promptly, ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction.
Qualifications:
- Experience: Previous experience in service, inspection, or sales, preferably within the fire protection or related industry.
- Education: Background in Business, Marketing, or a related field is preferred.
- Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to present complex information clearly.
- Technical Proficiency: Comfortable using various Windows based office systems and applications. Working knowledge of fire alarm systems, service in troubleshooting fire alarm is preferred, ability to tactfully explain issues to customers and provide solutions in writing, phone or in person.
- Customer Focus: Strong customer service orientation with the ability to build rapport and trust with clients.
- Self-Motivated: Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Wage: $45,000-$60,000 base salary plus bonus and comission plan
