Financial Services Litigation Associate - Senior Level - NY Office

The Financial Services Practice of Davis Wright Tremaine LLP has an exciting opportunity for a senior level associate attorney with at least five years' experience in commercial, securities, and/or financial services litigation to join the firm's Financial Services Practice Group in New York City.

The ideal candidate will have taken on significant responsibility in the litigation of commercial disputes in federal and state court and/or arbitral forums, including drafting pleadings, brief writing, motion practice, handling discovery and the day-to-day management of cases. Outstanding advocacy and communication skills, oral and written, are required. Experience with securities litigation, arbitration and/or or enforcement matters is encouraged. Applicants from government agencies are encouraged. To be considered, you must be a member the New York state bar.

The annualized salary range for this position in New York is $310,000 to $330,000. Actual pay will be adjusted based on the candidate's education, training, experience and other job-related factors permitted by law. Full time employees may be eligible for a bonus and health insurance with an optional HSA, long term disability, dental insurance, vision care, life insurance, Healthcare and Dependent Care Flexible Spending Accounts, 401(k), vacation, sick time, 10 paid holidays each year and an employee assistance program. For full-time employees, the initial sick leave benefit is 80 hours of sick leave per year. Attorneys generally take approximately three weeks of vacation from work each year, and it may vary depending on the needs of the clients and the firm. Additional voluntary benefits programs include: voluntary accident insurance, voluntary life, voluntary disability, voluntary long-term care, and pet insurance.
