Project Architect


DAVIS is looking for a Project Architect who has experience managing and coordinating integrated teams of architectural associates, consultants and fabricators for large and complex architectural projects.


Primary RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Work to outline goals, budget, timing, deliverables, project scope, and required resources
  • Management and coordination of clients, consultants and integrated design team
  • Develop and communicate expectations on each project for achieving client satisfaction and holding the project team accountable for meeting or exceeding those expectations
  • Coordinate with local municipalities and building officials during the preparation of construction documents
  • Coordinate production effort with careful adherence to the design intent proposed


Required QUALIFICATIONS

  • Minimum 15 years of professional experience in an architectural practice focused on a variety of large commercial projects
  • Professional Architecture degree from an accredited program (B. Arch or M. Arch) preferred
  • Knowledge and understanding of current construction costs
  • Knowledge and understanding of urban design, site design, entitlement procedures and current building codes
  • Knowledge of building materials, detailing, construction techniques and related engineering principles
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to coordinate and motivate integrated team members and mentor junior staff
  • Proficient in AutoCAD, Revit, Sketchup and Adobe CS
  • Architectural Registration required

Location:  Phoenix, AZ

Salary: TBD DOE
