Project Architect
DAVIS is looking for a Project Architect who has experience managing and coordinating integrated teams of architectural associates, consultants and fabricators for large and complex architectural projects.
Primary RESPONSIBILITIES
- Work to outline goals, budget, timing, deliverables, project scope, and required resources
- Management and coordination of clients, consultants and integrated design team
- Develop and communicate expectations on each project for achieving client satisfaction and holding the project team accountable for meeting or exceeding those expectations
- Coordinate with local municipalities and building officials during the preparation of construction documents
- Coordinate production effort with careful adherence to the design intent proposed
Required QUALIFICATIONS
- Minimum 15 years of professional experience in an architectural practice focused on a variety of large commercial projects
- Professional Architecture degree from an accredited program (B. Arch or M. Arch) preferred
- Knowledge and understanding of current construction costs
- Knowledge and understanding of urban design, site design, entitlement procedures and current building codes
- Knowledge of building materials, detailing, construction techniques and related engineering principles
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to coordinate and motivate integrated team members and mentor junior staff
- Proficient in AutoCAD, Revit, Sketchup and Adobe CS
- Architectural Registration required
