Job Summary
DAVISON COUNTRY CLUB is looking for full time prep and line cooks for our casual dining ala carte menu and banquets. Hours will vary according to business. Pay will be based on experience. PLEASE APPLY IN PERSON.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and chop ingredients according to recipes and specifications.
- Assist in meal preparation for various menu items.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen workspace.
- Follow food safety protocols to ensure the highest quality of food handling.
- Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently, including knives and other tools.
- Collaborate with chefs and kitchen staff to ensure timely service during busy periods.
- Stock and replenish supplies as needed, ensuring all ingredients are fresh and available.
- Participate in inventory management by tracking ingredient usage and reporting shortages.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a restaurant or food industry setting preferred.
- Knowledge of food handling techniques and food safety regulations.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
- Strong knife skills and familiarity with various cooking techniques.
- Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail.
- Ability to work as part of a team while also being self-motivated.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends as needed.
