Sr Analyst, Strategic Sourcing

The Sr. Analyst ensures that products, services and supplier relationships are in the best interest of the Davita. This position will support multiple Indirect sourcing lanes, including, but not limited to, Consulting, Logistics, and

Audit Services. This role is responsible for the evaluation of suppliers and contracts including the Requests forQuotes (RFQ), Request for Proposals (RFP) and Requests for Information (RFI). This position works under minimal

supervision on complex assignments that require considerable independent discretion and judgement. A successful candidate must be detail-oriented, with excellent skills in research, data analysis, commercial negotiation, and evaluation of goods and/or services. The Sr. analyst will make recommendations, including supplier selections, based on their research and is expected to provide support when in negotiations.

Key Responsibilities

• Work with internal business partners to facilitate Request for Proposals, Request for Quotes and Invitations to Bid
• Will ensure that all contracts and fully executed agreements are deposited into the Contract Management System
• Utilize e-sourcing tools to effectively manage contract administration
• Facilitate delivery of all relevant contract documentation including pricing and other key terms to the procurement systems team to enable purchasing
• Independently work on large sourcing/purchasing projects with a high level of discretion and independence
• Maintain all documentation on all procedures including final contracting commercial terms, final supplier quotes, contact information and RFP/ RFI documentation
• Partner with Sourcing Managers in data gathering, stakeholder discussions and contract support
• Assist Sourcing Managers in evaluating supplier performance as applicable
• Research relevant markets, suppliers and technologies and make recommendations to internal customers based on analysis
• Handle supplier communications as delegated by the Sourcing Managers

• Excellent Customer Service Skills when partnering with the Davita teammates at all levels of the organization. Will also work with suppliers to negotiate without damaging relationships but rather work in a spirit of partnership by utilizing the skills of persuasion and influence
• Financial acumen to interpret financial results, statements and forecasts and understand risks arising from contract terms
• Must have strong Communications Skills, both oral and written, and participate and/or lead RFP related meetings
• Excellent active listening skills
• Must manage the selection and evaluation of preferred suppliers including documenting the selection process, evaluating and comparing supplier quotes, bids and information, and making a recommendation based on the findings
• Comfortable in presenting to Senior Leadership
• Should demonstrate the desire to continually learn and evolve
• Must be adaptable and flexible, bringing an innovation mindset to the items they are responsible for by leveraging relationships with internal customers and suppliers
  
  

Experience And Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• 4-6 years of business experience required. 2-4 years of procurement experience preferred
• Experience facilitating multiple Requests for Proposals, Request for Quotes and Invitations to Bid
• Must have a general working knowledge of Indirect procurement categories
• Excellent Skills in MS Suite
• Experience with Coupa and other eSourcing platforms - preferred
• Should possess desire to succeed and willingness to advance

Salary/ Wage Range

$56,500.00 - $100,000.00 / year

Compensation for the role will depend on a number of factors, including a candidate’s qualifications, skills, competencies and experience and may fall outside of the range shown.
