The Quality Engineer is responsible for implementing methods to inspect, test and evaluate the reliability of manufacturing processes, products and production equipment. Making sure processes adhere to quality standards of Lean Six-Sigma. Preparing reports by collecting, analyzing and summarizing data. Working in accordance with deadlines for delivery of products

Essential Functions :

• Plan, execute, and oversee inspection and testing of products to verify compliance with specifications and deliverables of manufactured products.
• Develop and implement methods of tracking, documenting, and reporting quality levels for CSR (Corporate social responsibility), process improvement, and health and safety goals / KPIs
• Investigate product complaints and report quality issues to ensure closure in accordance with company guidelines and external regulatory requirements through root cause analysis studies.
• Develop or update company complaint and inspection procedures to capture, investigate, and properly document to ensure quality of product.
• Contribute quality expertise to design reviews for new and existing products to ensure products are measured, analyzed, improved, and controlled in order to produce the highest quality product.
• Provide training and support to quality assurance team members, focusing on systems, policies, procedures, and core processes.
• Comply with company and safety guidelines and perform other duties as needed.

This is a full-time position, working 7 : 00 am – 3 : 00 pm, Monday through Friday.

Supervisory Experience :

This position has no supervisory responsibilities.

Travel :

Ability to occasionally travel to Mexico, preferred. Overnight accommodation in El Paso, TX.
