Qualifications and responsibilities for this Commercial Construction Estimator position include:
- 3 years of commercial estimating experience, with the ability to read and interpret commercial construction plans.
- Experience estimating project sizes ranging from $20K to $10M, with an average of $100K-$300K.
- Tech-savvy, with proficiency in On-Screen Takeoff or similar estimating software.
- Conduct material take-offs, analyze bid specifications, and provide accurate estimates to ensure project profitability.
- Collaborate with architects, engineers, clients, and subcontractors to produce comprehensive cost analyses.
- Visit local job sites at the start of projects and evaluate scope and cost factors, including materials and labor.
- Maintain frequent communication with clients and attend weekly progress meetings with senior management.
- Uphold a professional attitude and complete additional tasks such as invoicing, punch lists, and final follow-ups as needed.
Salary: $70,000 - $100,000 per year, commensurate with experience.
