Qualifications and responsibilities for this Heavy Civil Estimator position include:
- 10 years of estimating experience in Heavy Civil Construction; 15 years preferred.
- Strong background in estimating and managing projects valued at $15M–$30M.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook; experience with Bluebeam, Bid2Win, Agtek, or similar estimating software preferred.
- Prepare detailed cost estimates, perform quantity takeoffs, and analyze project specifications.
- Work with subcontractors and suppliers to obtain competitive pricing and identify value engineering opportunities.
- Present estimates, risks, and proposed methodologies to executive management.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, vendors, and internal teams.
- Mentor and support junior team members while ensuring compliance with safety policies and industry standards.
Salary: $130,000 - $150,000 per year, commensurate with experience.
