Qualifications and responsibilities for this Lead Wastewater Project Engineer position include :
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field and a PE license (or EIT with relevant experience).
- Minimum 8-10 years of experience in decentralized wastewater treatment design, with at least 5 years as a lead designer.
- Expertise in designing treatment facilities, including MBR, SBR, activated sludge, MBBR, and biological treatment processes.
- Proficiency with AutoCAD, Bluebeam, and Microsoft Office suite.
- Prepare and manage TLAP, TPDES, and re-use permit applications for TCEQ.
- Lead the design and permitting of decentralized wastewater treatment facilities, from conception through construction, including effluent discharge and sludge management systems.
- Collaborate with sub-consultants and oversee project schedules, engineering reports, and cost opinions.
- Provide construction phase services, including coordinating vendors, responding to RFIs, reviewing submittals, and attending plant commissioning.
Salary : $110,000 - $150,000 per year, commensurate with experience.
