Qualifications and responsibilities for this Water/Wastewater Engineer position include:
- Bachelor’s degree in Environmental or Civil Engineering and EIT Certification (PE preferred or ability to obtain within 12 months).
- Experience in water/wastewater systems, site development projects, hydraulic modeling, and hydrology studies.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, ArcGIS, and Microsoft Office, with strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Prepare study-level reports and design plans for water and wastewater treatment, distribution, and collection systems.
- Oversee regulatory approvals, including EPA, EPD, Corps of Engineers, and soil erosion permitting.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize deadlines effectively.
- Preference given to candidates local to or willing to relocate to the Lake Oconee area.
Salary: $125,000 - $140,000 per year, commensurate with experience.
