We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Painter to join our team. Duties
- Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, and applying primer as needed.
- Apply paint, varnish, or other finishes to various surfaces using brushes, rollers, or spray equipment.
- Restore and repair surfaces by filling cracks and holes with appropriate materials.
- Collaborate with other tradespeople, including carpenters and concrete finishers, to ensure seamless project execution.
- Utilize power tools effectively for cutting, sanding, and finishing tasks.
- Estimate materials required for each job based on project specifications.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment throughout the duration of projects.
- Follow safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment at all times.
Requirements
- Proven experience in residential painting and industrial painting is preferred.
- Familiarity with stucco, plaster, and other surface materials is a plus.
- Basic math skills for measuring areas and calculating material needs.
- Ability to operate power tools safely and effectively.
- Strong attention to detail with a focus on delivering high-quality work.
- Excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with team members and clients.
- A valid driver's license may be required for transportation to job sites.
