Compensation
$76,460-$119,280 plus annual bonus potential

As a Warehouse Manufacturing Manager at Dawn, you are responsible to direct the flow of materials through the facility to include inventory control, warehousing, inbound/outbound transportation, and production scheduling.
What Will You do as a Warehouse Manager at Dawn Foods ?
- Leadership and motivation of Team Members to achieve the goals of Dawn Food Products.
- Develops and implements inventory control procedures to determine optimum levels. Coordinates daily cycle counts.
- Manages the Shipping and Receiving functions of the warehouse to ensure the receipt, coordination and safety of goods coming through the warehouse. Inspects physical condition of warehouse and equipment. Prepares work order for repairs and requisitions for replacement of equipment.
- Develops and maintains transportation and distribution procedures to maximize delivery efficiency. Selects appropriate delivery methods to minimize costs and maximize Customer satisfaction. Ensures that orders arrive and are dispatched on time to the appropriate destination.
- Manages the production scheduling function to ensure production efficiencies and acceptable fill rates, while maintaining approved finished goods inventory.
- Interfaces with the Production Team Leaders on the planning and forecasting of Customer orders to meet shipments.
- Ensures plant-wide compliance with Dawn’s Quality System.
- Monitors department budget objectives and insures that cost effective methods are being used.
- Directly supervises Dawn People in Shipping, Receiving, Transportation, Inventory Control and Production Scheduling areas. Interviews, conducts performance appraisals, directs work activities, trains and/or coordinates training for team members based on department requirements.
Below are the minimum qualifications to be a fit for this job.
- Bachelor's Degree required, or in lieu of degree, High School Diploma or GED required and four years of relevant work experience work in business management, logistics, warehousing, or equivalent related field.
- Five years related experience in the supervisory capacity of materials control, including transportation, warehousing, and inventory control required.
- Forklift Training Certification preferred.
- Operational knowledge of computer software (Excel, Word, Access, AS400, E-mail, Internet applications, etc) or ability to learn these skills.
- Excellent oral, written, and communication skills.
- Exposure to and experience with GMP’s, AIB standards, understand HAACP programs, USDA guidelines, OSHA Standards, and Plant Safety Programs
- Experience with SAP is strongly preferred.

- The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and frequently lift and/or move 25 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move 50 pounds.
- Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to focus
- Temperature fluctuates with the season – colder during the winter/warmer during the summer
- Working around heavy machinery – hearing protection required in production area
