At Dawood Engineering, Inc., we provide multi-disciplined consulting services for a wide range of industries encompassing Transportation, Energy & Land Planning / Site Development.
Our engineers and professionals provide Highway Design and Traffic Engineering, Bridge and Structural Engineering, Civil Design, Surveying and Mapping, Pipeline and Associated Facility Design, Geotechnical / Geophysical, Environmental Studies and Water / Wastewater design.
We are currently seeking a Structural Engineer to join our structures team in our Enola, PA office location. As a Structural Engineer you will be responsible for structural bridge design and inspection to meet current approved standards and design codes, along with satisfying the criteria set forth by our clients. You will collaborate with department engineers on a variety of projects to gain hands-on experience.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities :
- Reviews and supports the preparation of project plans, designs, and calculations ensuring notes, dimensions, materials and industry standards are met.
- Assists with preparing project quantity and cost estimates.
- Analyzes capacity of structures for current and / or proposed conditions.
- Collaborates with engineering teams to support organization of design files, field investigations, data collection, development, and design of projects.
- Perform other duties as required by business.
