What are the responsibilities and job description for the Senior Vice President of Sales position at DAX United States?
DAX US, a Global Media & Entertainment Company, is looking for an SVP, US Sales with an established record of sales leadership and revenue generation. This job reports directly to the President of DAX US. It requires someone with a deep interest and passion for audio, digital media, and innovation.
The successful SVP, US Sales candidate, will oversee advertising efforts and lead a team of talented and consultative sales leaders across the US. The successful candidate will demonstrate a passion for working with clients, developing relationships externally and internally, is well versed in public speaking, and deeply rooted in the digital media industry. Above all, your work and thought leadership will contribute to the growth of the broader digital audio business across DAX US.
What you’ll do:
- In collaboration with the executive leadership team, define and execute sales growth strategy for DAX US sales
- Manage US sales forecasts accurately, work together to set budgets and goals for the sales team
- Meet and exceed revenue targets
- Lead trading deal negotiations with Key agency and client direct
- Manage behaviors consistent with successful sales organizations
- Partner with VP, Programmatic and the programmatic operations team to further integrate DAX Audio and our product offering
- Continue to integrate programmatic sales channel into our core offering to agencies, trading desks and DSPs.
- Implement/lead/oversee client events, social engagements, and sponsorships based on local market dynamics and broad business knowledge across the country
- Periodically represent the DAX brand at client/agency summits through public speaking, panel moderation, and keynotes
- Hire, manage & develop sales talent
- Engage with key clients on a senior level, and deliver world-class consultative customer service
- Analyze, validate and update performance to maximize growth
- Develop best practices and demonstrate cost efficiencies that can scale
- Maintain high levels of communication and transparency with management, cross-functional teams, and business partners internally and externally
- Manage and collaborate with sales Marketing Department, including building case studies, increase brand visibility and ensuring the support of the sales team
- Oversee the Account Management Department to improve workflow, strategies and troubleshoot discrepancies
Who you are:
- You have a bachelor’s degree
- You have 10 years of experience in a media agency/online sales role with a minimum of 6 years managing sales teams
- You have deep knowledge of audio buying across direct and programmatic and can be creative with audio and digital client solutions
- You have strong negotiation skills and the ability to present effectively and close the deal
- You can build a pipeline and proven track record of exceeding goals
- You have dexterity in creating reports and presentations using Excel, PowerPoint, Keynote, etc.
- You have a deep understanding of both the digital, programmatic and audio ecosystems
- You are a team player, adapt well with change and have a positive attitude
- You can work in a fast-paced, exciting environment and across external and internal teams to deliver optimal client campaigns

Salary : $200,000 - $225,000
