Robot Service Manager
Job Description: The Robot Service Manager oversees Daxbot's Repair Department, its processes, and maximizes efficiency while ensuring performance, volume, quality, and budget goals are met.
Major Responsibilities and Duties:
- Manage the day-to-day operations for repair department including robot maintenance, staffing levels, and inventory
- Manage a field repair strategy to support Daxbot’s robot fleet
- Manage preventive and predictive maintenance schedules to avoid service impacting failures
- Report KPIs for subordinate staff
- Create or maintain testing systems and equipment
- Manage implementation of engineering change orders including approval, rollout and documentation
- Report and manage metrics for robot and system level MTTR and MTBF
- Maintain a safety-first culture by only using safe work practices
- 10% travel required (a total of approx. 2 weeks in a 4-month period)
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in engineering or equivalent experience
- Demonstrated Leadership and/or Management Experience
- Robotics experience (preferred)
- Strong attention to detail, organizational, and leadership skills
