We’re looking for a Project Manager to join our Day & Zimmermann team located in Richland, Washington.
The Project Manager is responsible for the day-to-day direction required to lead the project execution team to meeting or exceed safety, financial, operational and customer goals. The Project Manager is responsible for ensuring the senior leaders, on project and off project, are informed and engaged in the project, along with the functional resources required to ensure successful delivery of the project. This role will drive the Day & Zimmermann culture and values, accountability, and use of defined processes and procedures to ensure consistency in execution, as well as contributing to the Continuous Improvement Program.
As the Project Manager here’s the work you’ll do:
- Manage all aspects of project, from scope, schedule, planning and budget and responsible for all aspects of project implementation. Maintain comprehensive project documentation and reporting.
- Serve as point of contact and communicate project status to all stakeholders, both internal and external. Works effectively with support functions to ensure project success
- Coordinate allocation of project resources and responsible for day-to-day direction required to lead the project team. Coordinate with all PMO and other functional leaders to ensure project staffing needs are understood and being met.
- Primary owner of safety program at the site, including implementation of the site safety plan. Lead the safety culture by example and evaluate the effectiveness of staff’s use of the processes. Implement risk management plans.
- Develop and manage the project risk register including ongoing identification of risks that occur through the execution of the project. Work with the commercial management team to ensure customer and subcontractor changes are being managed in accordance with the contract agreements and within D&Z change management process. Track, review and regulate the progress and performance of site activities, identify area of changes required and initiate the changes. Effectively partner with functional areas via the appropriate Project Management Office to achieve shared goals, resolve conflicts, and establish/promote best practices and process improvements.
This role is for you if you have these skills:
- Ability to quickly problem solve and produce solutions and strategies
- Ability to establish and maintain effective relationships with all stakeholders and demonstrate excellent communication skills
- Excellent organizational skills with time management, delegation, planning, goal setting and decision making
- Bachelors degree in Engineering, Construction Management or equivalent experience in related fields
- 5 years successful project management EPC experience
- PMP certification preferred
In compliance with this state’s pay transparency laws, the salary range for this role is $95,000.00 - $ 171,000.00. This is not a guarantee of compensation or salary, as final offer amount may vary based on factors including but not limited to experience and geographic location. (The specific programs and options available to an employee may vary depending on date of hire, schedule type, and the applicability of collective bargaining agreements).
