Job Summary
As a Physical Therapist (PT), under the general direction of the Physical Medicine Director, you will organize and administer prescribed physical therapy programs to help patients achieve their maximum functional potential.

Responsibilities
- Evaluate and treat patients as prescribed by referring physician.
- Record treatment, response, progress and discharge information in patient's chart or enter into computer.
- Provide education to patient, family and significant others regarding condition, treatment and home program.
- Confer with physician and other practitioners in person, by phone, or in writing regarding progress, regression or change of plan.
- Orient, instruct and direct assistants, aides and students.
- Maintain professional growth by attending department meetings, inservice and educational conferences.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree, Master's degree or Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from an accredited program in Physical Therapy required.
- Licensure by the state of Connecticut required.
- AHA Healthcare Provider CPR certification or equivalent within 3 months of hire required.
- Minimum of one year clinical experience preferred.
