Job Summary
We are seeking a Certified Surgical Technologist to join our Maternal Child Health department in Putnam, CT. This per diem role offers varied shifts and the opportunity to work with a skilled team of healthcare professionals.
Responsibilities
- Assist with nursing care of patients in the operating room by performing routine and delegated duties according to hospital policies and standards.
- Maintain awareness of safety hazards and use equipment to prevent damage or harm to personnel and patient.
- Cover call as policy dictates.
Requirements
- Completion of an approved Operating Room Technician Program required.
- Certification as an Operating Room Technician required.
- Assist the surgeon as scrub technician according to established policies and standards.
