Certification Details BLS ACLS PALS Job Details Hospital in Northern Connecticut is currently looking for ER traveling nurses to start ASAP. This is a 100 bed facility with no trauma designation. 2 years' experience needed. Job Requirements 2 years' experience in Emergency Room nursing required. Current AHA BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required. Current NVCIT (Non-Violent Crisis Intervention Training) certification or within 3 months of hire required. Schedule Information 7p-7a shift. Unit Specific Information The ED has 24 beds, which includes a 5 bed locked behavioral health unit. Additional Details Temp license takes 10-15 days and facility will take submittals without CT RN license, HOWEVER start date would need to be a minimum 3 weeks out from offer acceptance If clinicians already have a CT RN license, then start date could be as soon as 2-3 weeks from offer acceptance. The ED has 24 beds, which includes a 5 bed locked behavioral health unit. Sees about 24,000 patients a year and is a certified stroke center.
