Responsibilities
Overview
Acting as the day to day leader of the account operation, the Sr. Director, Brand will be the client liaison, understand their business and internal process, and be equally strategic and creative. This person helps to be a roadblock remover, and answer-seeker, knowing how to balance client and agency priorities, alike.
Responsibilities
The successful candidate will represent a mix of creative thinking and strategic reasoning alongside strong written and verbal skills to articulate not only the team's ideas but also the value behind them. As the Sr. Director, Brand, your responsibility will be managing workstreams across both vertical work and conceptual ideation, leading the charge on projects and providing your expertise to all components of the process—assessing project feasibility, assigning work, resourcing, project planning, and interfacing directly with clients to manage expectations along the way.
- Oversee the day to day operations of the team, working closely with Integrated Production to ensure on time delivery of creative assets and strategic ideation presentations; and client communication from beginning to end
- Oversee the development & ideation on both campaigns and on-going projects, thinking through channel specific needs and ensuring client briefs are answered accurately and on time
- Work closely with cross functional Strategy and Creative teams on the development of a brand's owned social presence from tone and voice to look and feel to the cadence by which their stories roll out over time
- Audit, research, and analyze outside materials in shaping new ideas
- Work directly with team members across design, strategy and story, participating or overseeing projects as needed
- Brainstorm and bring a point of view, contributing ideas and creative executions to solve problems in unexpected ways, translating them in ways that make them feel simple
- Be on top of the changing social, digital and cultural landscape—looking for untapped opportunities and thinking to bring to our work
- 7 years of agency experience in an account leadership role, or similar
- Experience managing or contributing to creative ideation and campaign/asset execution, with a social and earned centric lens
- Experience thinking through both tactics and the big picture, able to articulate the why and the how to clients and partners
- Understanding of both major and emerging social platforms
- Strong written/verbal communication
- Conceptual thinking, editorially minded
- Leadership and problem-solving skills
- Self-motivated, organized, and reliable
- Enthusiasm for digital communication with a consumer/people-first approach
- Design and presentation abilities (Powerpoint and Google Slides are your friend)
- Passion for people, organization and excitement to collaborate in a fast-paced team environment
- Bachelor's degree
