What are the responsibilities and job description for the Customer Service/Office position at Day's Appliance Repair Company?
We are a mid-sized repair business that has been operating in the Tri-State area for over 30 years and are seeking a new employee to fill around 24-32 hours on a regular basis in our office. The position would have a set schedule with minor mutually agreed upon changes if other employees are out or workload is abnormally high.
This position involves providing customer service to our clients via scheduling appointments, answering billing questions, and other routine matters, as well as, providing clerical support for the behind the scenes business operation. The office staff helps with processing part orders, warranty scheduling and claims, filing, and the other million and one components to help keep things running smoothly. This position, like our other office staff members, will be required to work occasional rotating Saturdays (8-2) as a condition of employment and continued employment going forward - please inquire for specifics.
Job Requirements
-Friendly, professional manner when dealing with customers and co-workers.
-Experience using basic computer software and willingness to learn our customized dispatch system(it's easy, we promise!)
-Patience in dealing with occasional, complex problems or irate customers; ability to work on resolving situations as best as possible.
-Knowledge of general Greater Cincinnati area is a plus.
-A can-do spirit and willingness to pitch in where needed, especially in times of higher job volume or a co-worker being out.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $14.00 - $16.00 per hour
Expected hours: 24 – 32 per week
