Under the general supervision of the Program Director and under direct supervision of the Program Leader to work with the Branch County Day Treatment Program. The person employed in this position will assist in implementing the Day Treatment Program policies and goals and manage its program activities. A Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited university or college of learning in Behavioral Science or Criminal Justice, with experience in supervising youth programs in the community preferred. The applicant hired should have knowledge of the Juvenile Justice System, the Children Services Program, and the principles and methods involved with personal and social problem solving. The applicant should also possess the ability to speak and write effectively. The Youth Specialist position starts at $24.78 per hour, and includes County benefits that will be discussed at time of interview.
