Photocathode Assembler needed for a contract to opportunity with SOC's client to work in Tempe, AZ.
The Photocathode Assembler will adhere to procedures and work instructions to perform a variety of processes, achieving quality and yield goals.
Responsibilities :
- Metallization and / or coating of glass substrates using various deposition equipment to achieve proper electro-optical surface conditions
- Surface preparation of pre and post metalized or coated substrates using cleaning agents, solvents and acids to prepare substrates for post-processing
- Inspect pre and post metalized or coated glass substrates in order to comply with internal and external acceptance criteria
- Use of a microscope to preform inspection tasks.
- Recognize and categorize 40 failure modes set against a criterion developed for individually designed night vision components for the purposes of data and quality tracking
- Fully proficient in this role and able to work safely with limited supervision, assignments can be moderately difficult requiring independent judgement
- Maintain accurate record entry through use of onsite Quality Tracking System (QTS)
- Ability to use chemicals (acids, bases, and solvents) and use inspection equipment
- Darkness or low lighting (in inspection and test areas)
- Perform other duties as required
