- Please Note: Temporary Position
- Presents classroom instruction and practical on-the-job training exercises. Conducts/documents semi-annual firearms qualifications and annual physical agility testing
- Writes training programs and designs teaching curriculum. Update programs and curriculum with changes from Army Regulations. Obtain Government approval on updated training curriculum.
- Audits security guard check sheets. Investigates, reviews and releases security related incident and accident reports.
- Serves as the contractor Antiterrorism and Operations Security Officer (OPSEC). Coordinates with outside law enforcement for Facility Annual AT Exercise.
- Participate and pass an annual Company Physical, Physical Ability Test (1.5 mile run in 17:30 minutes and 19 push-ups in 2:00 minutes per Army Regulation AR190-56) on an annual basis, and successfully meet Individual Reliability Program (IRP) requirements.
- Armed Security, Police or Military background/knowledge.
- Teaching and training skill including effective oral and written communication skills.
- Proficient in use of Windows 10, Outlook, Microsoft programs, NCIC III, and other applicable software programs.
- When armed, able to pass a bi-annual weapons qualification with M9 pistol and M4 rifle.
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED).
- Bachelors Degree preferrably in Criminal Justice preferred. An Associates degree preferrably in Criminal Justice required.
- One to Three years in curriculum development, classroom training, and applying practical teaching methods in a field environment.
- Valid driver's license required.
- Ability to obtain a security clearance.
- Required: Firearms Instructor Certification
- Preferred: Antiterrorism Officer Basic Course Level 1 & 2
- Active Shooter (ALERT) Instructor
- Current ST-19 LEWTAQ Certification
- Army Operations Security Program Manager/Officer Certification Level 2
