Daya Mental Health and Wellness is seeking to hire a full-time Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner PMHNP or Psychiatric Physician Assistant PA to complement our existing staff of therapists and PMHNP/ PAs. Our practice has been serving Western North Carolina for many years and is widely respected in the community. Our practitioners include Licensed Clinical Social Workers, Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor, Psychiatric Nurse Practitioners, Psychiatric Physician Assistant and two admin employees, one of which is an RN. We are a small, outpatient practice that is collegial, with frequent consultation among practitioners as the norm. We offer a chance to practice independently in a context featuring strong professional support from experienced colleagues. In addition, internal consultation and easy referrals are readily available.
The ideal candidate will be a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner or Psychiatric Physician Assistant licensed to practice in the state of North Carolina whose areas of focus coincide with those of the practice, particularly the care of clients with addiction, trauma, mood disorders, eating disorders and ADHD. Our practice sees a variety of ages and conditions and will enable you to choose what comfort level you have in treating specific conditions.
Job Type: Full-time, In person and telehealth. Flexible but pending DEA requirements this may require more in person than telehealth
Requirements: Unrestricted North Carolina Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner license, DEA license, ability to be credentialed with all insurance companies. Unfortunately we need a PMHNP and are unable to employ an FNP at this time.
What we are looking for in an employee:
-Dependable individual that multitasks well.
-Must be able to be credentialed with numerous insurance companies
-Must be comfortable working with clients that have a variety of mental health issues
-Must be able to pass a urine drug screen
Little more about the position:
-This position pays a percentage of collected. Average yearly income is 200,000
-We will provide you with a supervising physician and cover their costs
-Your hours and days that you work will be your choice as long as you commit to 32 hours per week. Until completely credentialed with all insurance companies this amount may be less
-Office staff will take care of scheduling, returning patient calls, billing, collecting copays, ordering medications from specialty pharmacies, giving injections, obtaining drug screens
-Approximate times for appointments are 1 hour for initial evals and 30 minute follow ups.
