- Supervise the day-to-day operations of the production department.
- Coordinate animal husbandry and flock management to meet the needs of the birds.
- Address any issues found during daily inspections of the barns and complex.
- Create and implement policies and procedures as needed.
- Manage the purchasing of necessary parts and departmental resources.
- Effectively manage staff by providing coaching, training, and direction as needed.
- Ensure performance appraisals are provided in a timely manner.
- Respond to performance issues and provide development opportunities and/or feedback.
