3DDK Private Elementary School and Daycare partners with parents to help children build their academic foundation for future learning and life skills. Candidates must have minimum 3 year’s experience as a Assistant Director in a licensed childcare facility. Responsibilities
The Assistant Director is responsible for scheduling, managing, and supporting the Director and All Teaching Staff with quality practice components of curriculum development, child classroom experience, environment assessments, Teacher training compliance, and professional development. Accountable for all aspects of business operations, state mandated compliance, health department compliance, and overall general and health safety.
Must have exceptional verbal, written, interpersonal, strong decision making and communication skills. Other job quality requirements include a heart for children, dedication, hard working, team oriented, flexible, adaptable, and able to juggle multiple tasks as required.
Must exhibit a strong commitment to building positive relationships with staff, families, and community we serve. Must be reliable role model for fellow staff and embody a service of leadership philosophy. Must maintain a professional appearance, energetic, and exhibit professionalism at all times especially when representing the company during staff/vendor relations/community/child interactions, positive upbeat attitude, and demonstrate strong leadership abilities. Must have a current drivers license and have a clear Texas Department of Public Safety record.
JOB TYPE: Full-Time
SCHEDULE: Monday-Friday 9a-6p
PAY: $17-20

Business Operations/ Administration Duties:
Responsible for overseeing all aspects of the center including quality assurance, safety, and facility operations.
· Complete daily Building Maintenance Sheets
· Monthly Fire Extinguisher checks
· Monthly Safety Drills
· Manage Weekly Parent Communication Board Updates
· Manage Staff Communication Board Updates, staff Initiatives, center activities planning/participation/follow-up, and Birthdays/Employee morale initiatives
· Manage and maintain Staff and Children files and updates
· Update all paperwork required for state licensing
· Follow state licensing guidelines -Stay current with all required trainings
· Assist with bus run transports to PISD and CCISD schools we serve
· Monitor Classroom Boards Monthly Updates.
· New-hire Staff Onboarding Training
· Update Staff Training logs and state mandated staff training clock hour requirements
· Inventory Food and supplies for monthly orders and biweekly milk orders.
· Check for expired food product
· Provide feedback for annual reviews and manage scheduling for timely reviews
· Must pass ALL State Licensing, FBI, and Local Background Checks.
· Bright Wheel System: Must Distribute Parent Past due notices from billing administrator.
· Food Program: Take Daily Meal Attendance, Submit weekly attendance sheets, Monthly paperwork reconciliation
Other Requirements:
· Must have reliable transportation
· Must have excellent references and pass all state required background checks.
· Other duties as required
· Experience with ABEKA curriculum
· Texas Rising Star experience is preferred.
· Bi-lingual is a plus but not required.
