Forklift Operator/Warehouse

Dayco is currently looking for experienced forklift operators to become apart of our team.

Forklift Operators Key Responsibilities:

• Accurately pick/remove product from locations for shipment to customer
• Scan product using RF units
• Drop/place product in correct shipping location
• Verify accuracy of orders and ready product for shipment per customer specifications for full truck load, LTL shipments and Small Parcel shipments
• Load and unload trucks (Receiving Department)
• Receive in full case/full pallet product from receiving dock and store in locations within warehouse
• Consolidate product within picking locations to maximum storage capacity and increase picking productivity
• Replenish forward pick locations from reserve locations to maximize picking productivity
• Print carton labels
• Operate various material handling equipment to store and move product – Order selectors, Dock stockers and Reach Trucks.
• Perform daily cycle count functions on random and triggered locations to ensure inventory accuracy.
• Investigate and correct all Quality related customer requests
• Work in a safe manner to prevent accidents and injuries
• Maintain a clean and neat work area
• All other duties assigned

Forklift Operator Minimum Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Previous experience preferred
• Must be able to pass forklift certification and evaluation

Forklift Minimum Requirements

• Able to lift 50lbs
• Able to stand for long periods of time
• Able to work in extreme weather conditions

Job Types: Full-time, Temporary

Pay: From $16.00 per hour
