About the opportunity
Dayforce is seeking a Cybersecurity Endpoint Engineer to join our global Cybersecurity organization. You will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining endpoint security solutions to protect against a wide range of cyber threats. This role requires a deep understanding of cybersecurity principles, strong technical expertise, and an initiative-taking approach to identifying and mitigating potential vulnerabilities. This role will work in close partnership with Cybersecurity engineers, architects, operations, and P&T (Product & Technology) teams to timely deliver on projects across all business areas.
What you’ll get to do
- Develop and implement endpoint security strategies, policies, and procedures to protect against advanced cyber threats.
- Lead the design, deployment, and configuration of endpoint security technologies such as endpoint detection and response (EDR), secure access server edge (SASE), data loss prevention (DLP), anti-ransomware, Microsoft Intune, and endpoint encryption solutions.
- Collaborate closely with vendors to implement best practices and hardening measures to strengthen the security posture of endpoint devices and mitigate potential attack vectors.
- Perform hands-on troubleshooting, implementation, and setup of the technical infrastructure.
- Ensure scalability, availability, and performance of endpoint services.
- Identify issues and develop recommendations that address significant risks and complex issues.
- Participate in POCs of new security products and services and validate integration capabilities aligned with business needs.
- Excel at being agile and responsive to changes in plans and see it as an opportunity to excel.
- Work closely with project management teams and other engineers to timely deliver on projects with quality.
- Provide Tier 3 support during major incidents and collaborate closely with respective teams during these incidents to troubleshoot and to help drive response efforts.
- Create technical documentation, provide training and guidance for other team members.
