About the Role
As our Health and Wellness Director, you will play a vital role in ensuring residents receive the highest level of care while fostering an environment that promotes independence, dignity, and well-being. You will lead a team of caregivers, oversee wellness programs, and serve as a key liaison between residents, families, and healthcare providers.
Key Responsibilities :
Oversee resident care, ensuring compliance with all federal and state policies.
Lead, hire, train, and supervise a dedicated team of caregivers.
Conduct resident assessments and develop individualized care plans.
Maintain accurate records and ensure regulatory compliance.
Communicate effectively with residents, families, physicians, and community partners.
Provide ongoing education and training for caregivers to ensure the best care delivery.
Foster a positive and engaging community environment.
What We’re Looking For :
Experience – Two (2) years of experience in senior living, assisted living, or dementia care preferred.
Education – Preferably an associate degree or higher in human services or healthcare.
Licensure – A licensed nurse (RN / LPN) is a plus.
Leadership Skills – Experience in supervising and coaching teams.
Strong Communication – Ability to connect with residents, families, and staff effectively.
Problem-Solving Ability – A proactive approach to addressing resident and community needs.
Compassionate & Motivated – Someone who truly enjoys working with seniors.
