We're looking for someone who's ready to roll up their sleeves, experiment, and adapt as we grow. As we scale, this role may evolve into a leadership position, with the opportunity to build and manage a team.
This role is ideal for someone who lives and breathes social media, knows what makes brands stand out, and can navigate crypto culture like a native. You'll lead Daylight's brand presence across platforms, working closely with our marketing team to shape how we show up in the world.
You're the person who's chronically online, spotting memes before they trend, and can navigate both high-end brand building and degen culture. You seamlessly switch between crafting premium brand content and jumping on the latest crypto trends.

Responsibilities
- Social & Content
- Own Daylight's social presence across platforms (X, TikTok, Instagram, YouTube), developing platform-specific strategies that drive engagement and growth
- Lead brand and creative development from research to execution, including audits, strategy concept development, and creative direction
- Work cross-functionally with content, design, and creative teams to produce high-quality assets that maintain brand consistency while staying culturally relevant
- Monitor social conversations, identify engagement opportunities, and manage rapid responses to market developments
- Develop and maintain relationships with crypto influencers, media, and community members
- Create, optimize, and iterate on content based on performance data and emerging trends
- Guide internal teams on social best practices and brand voice
- Stay ahead of cultural trends in both crypto and broader social media landscapes
- Community Management
- Design, build, and scale Daylight's community strategy across Discord, Telegram, and other relevant platforms
- Create and manage the Discord server structure, channels, roles, and permissions
- Create and execute community growth campaigns to drive new member acquisition
- Develop comprehensive community guidelines, moderation policies, and escalation frameworks
- Recruit, train, and manage community moderators and ambassadors
- Plan and execute regular community events, AMAs, Twitter Spaces, and educational workshops
- Design and implement community incentive programs, including potential token-based rewards and recognition systems
- Establish community feedback loops to gather product insights and feature requests
- Coordinate with the product team to facilitate beta testing and early access programs

- Deep understanding of what drives success for premium consumer brands on social media
- Proven track record of building engaged communities and driving organic growth
- Strong grasp of crypto culture with the ability to participate authentically in conversations
- Experience leading creative teams and managing asset production from concept to execution
- Ability to work quickly and make decisions in fast-paced markets
- Strong eye for design and a strong understanding of creative principles
- Experience collaborating with technical teams and translating complex concepts for broader audiences
- Understanding of community moderation tools, bots, and automation for scaling operations
- Familiarity with community analytics and engagement measurement
- Established presence in Crypto Twitter/social media
- Content creation skills (video editing, graphic design)
- Experience building brands in web3
- Understanding of DeFi, crypto infrastructure, and energy markets
- Track record of viral moments or successful meme creation
