Pay Scale: Pay is based off education, experience, and certification level. Levels are; Peer Support/Para Professional: $15-$17/hr.
AP:$17-$20/hr.
QP:$21.63-$23.07/hr.
Available Shifts: 8am-8pm and 8pm-8am.
Summary: Responsible for providing support and care to meet the physical and psychological needs of consumers through providing direct and indirect care. BHUC is a 24-hour behavioral health urgent care service.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Provides supervision and monitoring of each consumer. Assist with and model appropriate daily living skills.
- Document any reported or observed symptoms of consumers and report to the team.
- Participate in Shift Report
- Provide transportation
- All other duties as assigned by supervisor

Education and/or Experience:
Tech I:
- Para Professional services are delivered by staff who have the life experience of being diagnosed with a serious mental illness or substance addiction problem, and are currently in recovery, stable, and living without relapses. The Paraprofessional has a high school diploma, or GED and at least five years of life experience with a serious mental illness or substance addiction.
- Peer Support - Requires Peer Support Certification.
- AP - requires high school diploma and at least one year of appropriate experience. Or Bachelor’s degree in the field with no experience.
Tech II:
- QP- requires bachelor's degree in social work, Counseling or another Human Services field. Qualified Professional (QP) required.
